And the award goes to...

The observant or just plain nosy amongst you will have noticed we have acquired quite a few new trophies. Whilst our trophy room is looking impressive we still have some gaps. If you have any of the trophies that are not on display and would like to show them off in the trophy room, please let one of the officers know and we can get them on display.

The Guild would like to take a moment to thank the generous folk who donated the new weapon trophies, Rhhed will be handing out more imaginary points as a thank you (you know who you are).

There are some spare pedestals set up for each of the epic weapon trophies, we don't have on display. If you have one for your class that you would like to display in the room, let one of the officers know. 

Once our curator has finished with the stock take, we will add a list of missing items we would like to display, to the end of this post. 

Don't talk about the honey.

After a bit of a slow start, the first Friday Frolic saw Shaeynn, Rhhed, Arcturos, Borke and the mercs charging round Norrath with varying levels of success. We got pwned in the Hive, saw the sights from a ballon ride in Paineel, we kicked butt in Skyshrine and were responsible for the pwnage in Kurn's Tower.

We were out causing mayhem for a little over three hours. It was decided to warm up with a little trip the the Hive in Vesspyr Isles. We should have taken the hint we were not welcome when Borke managed to upset, what seemed like every bee in the place which resulted in several trips to the medicine cabinet for all concerned.

We decided to nurse our wounds in Paineel by taking a balloon ride. It was unfortunate that we booked last minute tickets on the day that the Airship was hijacked. I'm pleased to report that we put on a good show and showed the ruffians that Dragon Vanguard was not to be trifled with.

Borke took the frolicers on a slight detour to Skyshrine to put up some supplies for his weapon smithy. But it was a typical Friday and the place was teeming with dozens of shoppers all after a bargain.

Kurn's Tower was the final stop on the Frolic and the boys and girls from Dragon's Vanguard had a great time. The Baron was a bit upperty with us to start with, but we soon resolved our differences and he went for a bit of a lie down (with Rhhed's sword in his head). The rest of the friendly folk at the Tower made our visit very pleasurable. Arcturos managed to not fall of much stuff either so it was agreed by all that the Friday Frolic was a great success.

It's the Friday Family Frolic

We are planning an outing to Kurn's Tower on Friday the 17th January at 4:30 pm Norrath time*.

I've never been there myself but Shaeynn assures me that it's lovely this time of year. The guide books advise that it's not really suitable for the novice travellers as the natives can get a bit testy if you don't follow the local customs. We have heard reports that some folks got pwned for just walking in the front door and looking at someone 'funny'.

Rhhed has offered to make the sandwiches but it's up to you to bring the drinks and munchies. You need to make sure you have a good supply of the essentials such as totems, potions, bandages and bandaids as the gift shop was pillaged and razed to the ground by a rather enthusiastic group from the Bloodoath guild last Tuesday. Also please don't drink the water, Tuphana is still trying to get the marks out of his Chausses after his last visit to Kunark.

So fellow guildies, if you are level 80+ and fancy a jaunt, meet us in the guild courtyard. To make life easier, and because Borke and Rhhed hate EQ's poxy text chat system, we were thinking of using EQ's voice chat. Please feel free to join us.

The tower zone needs the access quest Dragonbone Weapon Parts** to be completed by at least one of the group. Borke and Rhhed did this today, just to make sure we could get in. We didn't fancy standing around like a bunch of lemons banging on the door, only to find out nobody ordered the tickets.

If the outing goes well, we will try to schedule a regular Friday Frolic.

Welcome to Dragon Vanguard's new blog. After thinking about the easiest way to present quickly accessible information, for recruiters and new members, about Dragon Vanguard guild and our guild hall, this seemed the best solution. No doubt there will also be some random and rambling posts along the way as well, but this blog is not intended to replace the other communication tools already found in Ever Quest II.
